Clearin' My Head: Future Plans/Hopes

Takin' a break (though I don't really have that much all time for one ^^;;;; ). Banzai is coming up WAY fast, and Yaoi Con is nipping at the heels, too. I'm a little burnt out and distracted at the moment, especially getting excited for ideas for cons that are months and months away! Bad me!

Took up an old obsessive fandom again, Eureka 7. God, I miss that series! It's been ages since I was last into it. But after seeing the movie in theaters. . . . which the English dub really FAILED and ruined it. I then was listening to my iTunes and it played some Eureka 7 stuff. Then I just narrowed it down to all the music and it made me remember all the great things about that series. After hunting down the movie online but in Japanese with subtitles, I was amazed by the difference. The movie was actually good! Holy crap! The voice acting (the emotion in their voices transcended language, so I still got that much out of it even though I don't understand Japanese), and the better translations~ And well, I'm hooked all over again. ^^;

And blame :icondeejkakashi: for the 2010 cosplay plan list thinger idea. XD Plus, I've drawn up more concept ideas for more new costumes so I'm even more excited~ But here's my hopeful list for 2010.

Sakura Con: Seattle, Washington

• "Remix" Kaito, Vocaloids.
• Hokage Uzumaki Naruto, Naruto.
• Zidane Tribal, Final Fantasy IX (Possibly Amano versions, this time)!

I know I'm leaving ones out on this one. . . meh, I'll be reminded later, I'm sure. ^^;


Anime Oasis: Boise, Idaho

• Edward "Edge" Geraldine, Final Fantasy IV.

Wow, I've actually not lined up anything else for this one for sure. O _ O Aside from the Cosplay Contest costume, of course~ ^^;


Anime Expo: Los Angeles, California

• "Epic!" Dark Link, Legend of Zelda.
• Upgraded/Ending Oufit! Renton Thurston, Eureka 7.
• "Remix" Kaito, Vocaloids.
• Hokage Uzumaki Naruto, Naruto.
• Zidane Tribal, Final Fantasy IX.

Might join the possible Silent Hill-age group, if I can pick a freaky monster to be. ^^: Also trying to decide which costumes to re wear, like Tsubasa, Gurren Lagann, Code Geass, Final Fantasy IV. . . many many months away but we'll just have to see! 8D

Well, time to get back to work. . . or bed, whichever comes first.

Why, thank you! <3 I remember you, too! Your cosplay was wonderful, as well! My Garnet was especially thrilled when she saw you, and with a prop staff, to boot. XD It's always awesome to see more FF9 cosplayers at cons. (Such an underloved game~)
